Why cant we get along?

Born in an era of hate...
why oh lord! cant the killings abate?
it used to be done with words...
now its done with guns and bombs!

The hate is growing...its growing
Hate is all we are sowing!
Do we expect to reap love?
All we will see is fire from above!

The fire is raining down on all..
the fire does not respect at all.
it does not discriminate amongst victims..
wont this alone make us listen?

Yesterday it was Dafur and the Congo,
Jos, Mumbai have had a taste of it also!
today its Gaza...Gaza...Gaza!
Three days of shellin oh Allah!

Created by one God, yet we shed blood freely!
Joined by one destiny, yet so much enmity!
The Holocaust is bein re-enacted,
why are we so complacent?

In war, battle is between soldiers.
in this war, who are the soldiers?
the kids, their moms, and the old ones?
they are the ones dyin...hmmm! Soldiers!

This is not a war! its the devil's brawl!
a brawl where there are no laws,
save those from the bottomless pit,
where deep hate never quits!

Gaza today, where tomorrow?
Sadly, we do not know!
But as we sit in our lil corners,
we are sure to view d next murders!

the hate, the death, global crises,
will haunt us forever...all day long!
Oh Allah! why cant we get along?
